Actalis delivers EU-regulated trust services and publicly trusted certificates for websites, applications, and machine identities. It is commonly used where European trust services (eIDAS/PSD2) and automation-first certificate operations are required at scale.

Key capabilities

Key capabilities include EU trust and sovereignty through Actalis’ role as a European CA and eIDAS Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP). Actalis also supports ACME-based automation for simpler issuance and renewals, offers a Free plan to get started quickly with automated DV certificates, and provides enterprise governance via CertiManager for certificate inventory and visibility, policy enforcement, and lifecycle automation (CLM / Managed PKI).

SSL Certificates

Actalis offers publicly trusted TLS/SSL certificates for different assurance levels and site types, including Domain Validation (DV), Organisation Validation (OV), and Extended Validation (EV). For organisations managing many endpoints, ACME automation helps reduce manual work and renewal risk, especially as certificate lifetimes continue to shorten.

Digital Security Solutions

Beyond standard TLS/SSL, Actalis provides EU-focused and enterprise trust services such as qualified certificates, including QWAC for eIDAS and PSD2 contexts, S/MIME for email encryption and signing, and Code Signing to protect software integrity. Actalis also supports mutual TLS (mTLS) for secure machine-to-machine authentication, where tighter lifecycle control is often required.

Advanced Security Services

For organisations that need central control and auditability, CertiManager provides a platform to issue, manage, and automate certificates across their lifecycle (CLM / Managed PKI). This supports certificate inventory, ownership clarity, policy enforcement, and renewal automation across teams and environments.

Actalis also offers post-quantum initiatives and Trusted IoT services to help prove the authenticity and integrity of data generated by connected devices.
